General Camp Information - Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
- All camps are commuter camps only - no overnight accommodations are available - see hotel information on this web site
- Ratio of camper to staff - 6:1 This very low ratio is one of the things that separates Sun Devil Softball Camps from the rest.
- Staff for the camps will be made up of coaches and players from the Sun Devil softball team, along with other top four year college, junior college, high school and travel ball coaches.
- You MUST register for camps in advance. In order to staff our camps properly, we do not accept walk ups at our camps.
- Some of our camps have a family discount available - email for details
- Team Discount available - 10 or more from the same team at the same camp - 1 attends free (11th camper is free)
- If a camper knows in advance they cannot attend all sessions of a camp, we will make arrangements to pro-rate the cost of the camp. This will only be done in ADVANCE. If only attending a portion of a camp, camper will not receive a camp shirt unless they pay $5.00 above the pro-rated amount.
- All cancellations will have a $25.00 cancellation fee.
- All returned checks will have a $25.00 fee and the camper's name will be on "hold" until a money order or cashier's check are received.
- NO refunds or cancellations once the camp is within 24 hours of starting.
- All registration forms must include camper's medical insurance company name & policy number and have parent or guardian's signature where indicated
- We cannot accept payment by credit card at this time.

Parents are more than welcome to stay for the entire camp and can video if they so choose.

No lunch/food is provided at camps - campers are responsible for their own lunch and/or snacks. Water will be provided during camp. There is a refrigerator and a microwave available for camper use in the team room at ASU's Farrington Stadium.
For All Skills camps - camper needs to bring bat, batting gloves, cleats, helmet, glove, catching gear (if a catcher) a refillable water bottle with NAME clearly marked - Please label all items
For Hitting or Slapping camps - camper needs to bring bat, batting gloves and helmet and a refillable water bottle with NAME clearly marked - Please label all items
For Catching camps - bring full catching gear and a refillable water bottle with NAME clearly marked - Please label all items
CATCHERS REQUIRED FOR PITCHING CAMPS - They do NOT pay for the camp. Your catcher can be a teammate, friend or family member as long as they are capable of catching you.
If camps are cancelled due to low enrollment figures - you will receive a full refund.
